UP Scholarship Eligibility Details 2025

  • Pre-Matric (Class 9-10): Enrolled in a UP school. Family income ≤ ₹2.5 Lakh (SC/ST) & ≤ ₹2.0 Lakh (General/OBC/Minority).
  • Post-Matric Intermediate (Class 11-12): Enrolled in a UP recognized college. Family income ≤ ₹2.5 Lakh (SC/ST) & ≤ ₹2.0 Lakh (General/OBC/Minority).
  • Post-Matric (Other Than Inter): For Graduate, PG, Diploma, or Certificate courses in a UP recognized college. Family income ≤ ₹2.5 Lakh (SC/ST) & ≤ ₹2.0 Lakh (General/OBC/Minority).
  • Post-Matric Professional: For Engineering, Medical, Ph.D., etc., in a UP institute. Family income ≤ ₹2.5 Lakh (SC/ST) & ≤ ₹2.0 Lakh (General/OBC/Minority).
  • Post-Matric (Outside State): For UP domiciled SC/ST/General category students studying outside UP. Income ceiling: ₹2.5 Lakh (SC/ST) & ₹2.0 Lakh (General).

How to Apply for UP Scholarship 2025

  • Visit the official UP Scholarship portal: scholarship.up.gov.in.
  • Navigate to the "Student" section and click on "Registration" for the appropriate category (Pre-Matric/Post-Matric).
  • Fill in the registration details accurately and submit to receive a registration number.
  • Log in using the registration number and password to access the application form.
  • Fill out all sections of the application form: personal, academic, and bank details.
  • Upload the required documents, such as a photograph and other necessary certificates.
  • Review the completed form for any errors and submit it. After final submission, no changes can be made.
  • Take a printout of the final application and submit the hard copy, along with all supporting documents, to your educational institute.
